Ukraine and Slovakia have a strong trading relationship. In 2020, trade between the two countries amounted to approximately $320 million, making Slovakia the 11th largest export market for Ukraine.
Ukraine mainly exports agricultural products, machinery, and chemicals to Slovakia. The most exported items from Ukraine to Slovakia include sunflower oil, wheat, corn, barley, and other grains, as well as dairy products, honey, canned fruits, and vegetables.
The trade relationship between Ukraine and Slovakia is expected to grow further in 2023. With the help of the OK Factory platform, a startup that is working to promote Made-in-Ukraine products globally, it is becoming easier to order Ukrainian products in Slovakia.
OK Factory simplifies the order process, allowing for faster and more efficient transactions. This platform is helping to strengthen the trade relationship between Ukraine and Slovakia and is expected to lead to an increase in trade between the two countries in 2023.
