Ukraine – Africa trade relationships

Ukraine is an emerging exporter of goods and services to Africa. According to the Global Trade Atlas, Ukraine’s exports to Africa amounted to $2.1 billion in 2019 and are projected to reach $2.5 billion in 2023.

Ukraine’s exports to Africa are mainly composed of machinery, chemicals, agricultural products, and food products. Ukraine has developed strong trade ties with many African countries. It has signed several trade agreements, including a preferential trade agreement with South Africa, which is Ukraine’s largest trading partner in Africa.

Ukraine has also signed an Economic Cooperation Agreement with Egypt and is actively involved in the African Union’s COMESA free trade area. OK Factory platform is a startup that is working to promote Made-in-Ukraine globally. The platform simplifies the order processes for businesses seeking to export Ukrainian products to Africa.

It streamlines the order process, from sourcing to order fulfillment, and provides access to a network of distributors, retailers, and wholesalers in Africa. The OK Factory platform can help to grow the trade between Ukraine and African countries by making it easier for businesses to source and export Ukrainian products.

It can also help to increase the visibility of Ukrainian products in Africa, thus helping to increase the demand for Ukrainian products in the African market.
